Wolfgang Lechner: Frau Lindgren, am Ende von „Pippi im Taka-Tuka-Land“ schlucken Pippi Langstrumpf und ihre Freunde Thomas und Annika Krummeluspillen, damit sie nie erwachsen werden. Allerdings lassen Sie offen, ob diese Pillen tatsächlich wirken. Nehmen wir einmal an, sie wirken nicht, wie geht dann die Geschichte weiter? Was wird aus Pippi Langstrumpf?
Astrid Lindgren: Keine Angst, die Pillen wirken. Pippi wird nie älter als neun Jahre.
